The Testimony of Khalida Wukawitz

Truth Unveiled is a Christian organization committed to reaching out to Muslims throughout the world with the love of Jesus Christ.

truthUNVEILED -- Khalida Wukawitz

Biography

Khalida Wukawitz was born in Bethlehem into a Muslim Palestinian family in 1967 during the Six-Day, Arab-Israeli War. Her mother died a few days after Khalida was born due to injuries she sustained during the Six Day War.  As a young girl Khalida lived in a Messianic Jewish orphanage.

For many years after her life at the orphanage ended she endured many betrayals and painful experiences including two arranged marriages to abusive men.  She immigrated to the US in 1983, bore four children and found herself fleeing to authorities in 1996 to escape a brutal husband.

She and her children were placed under protective services and relocated to Clearlake CA.  She had no family, no help and no money and was very angry with God.  She practiced her Islamic faith for 22 yrs but never felt spiritually fulfilled.

In Oct 1996 she was drawn into a little clothing store where she met Lisa, the owner of the business.  Lisa, whom she now calls “my spiritual mother”, introduced her to the Lord Jesus Christ.  After two years of relationship building and Lisa sharing her faith, Khalida desired to know more about her God and wanted the same personal relationship with Jesus that she witnessed Lisa experiencing.  That led Khalida to pray a particular prayer asking Jesus to reveal himself to her.

That prayer led to a miraculous spiritual experience / vision where Jesus appeared to her and revealed to her that He is the Son of God.  She now lives her life according to the will of God with the understanding that her life belongs to Jesus.  She strives to serve and glorify his name and advance his kingdom.

Khalida formed a ministry called Truth Unveiled which is committed to reaching out to others with the love of Jesus Christ.  She hopes to impact those she witnesses to so that they too will have an opportunity to know and choose the one true Jesus Christ as their Savior.  A significant part of the ministry is participating in the Spirit of The One New Man, with a heart for reconciliation between Jews and Gentiles as taught in Ephesians 2: 14-17.
